The drum is clamped into the drum rotator with a clamp which fits around the center of the drum. The rotation is done by either a continuous loop chain or a crank handle. The crank handle is meant for operations which occur beneath shoulder level. For operations that must take place higher than shoulder level, the continual circle chain will be utilized.

The drum tines are carriage mounted or simple fork attachments. They are designed for stacking and unstacking 210-liter metal drums. Stacking involves nothing fancy, just easy horizontal positioning of the drums. The carriage-mounted enhancements decrease the load center of the drums.

Automatic Tongs
Drum tongs are obtainable in automatic and semi-automatic versions. They are for use in the open topped or tight head steel drum styles. The drum forceps could be connected in a couple of ways to the lift truck. One method is to connect them under a fork-mounted hook. Another way is to connect them to a fork-mounted jib or a carriage mounted jib. Either the automatic and semi-automatic have a drum capacity of 210 liters. Rim Grip Handler
When drums require storage with limited area available, the Rim Grip Drum Handler is the perfect option in drum forklift attachments. The Rim Grip Handler operates by using metal jaws to be able to grab the rim of the drum. It picks the drum up and puts it down without requiring any room between the drums.
